Who we are
Divzy is operated by Vayuun Technologies One Person Company (OPC) Private Limited. For anything about your data, write to admin@vayuuntechnologies.in.
What we collect
Your name, email address, password (stored only as a bcrypt hash — we never see or store the password itself), the avatar you pick, and what you record in the app: groups, expenses and their splits, settlements, loans, notes, buddy links and your buddy code.
How it is used
Solely to run Divzy — computing balances and showing your records to the people you have shared them with. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not share your data with third parties beyond the infrastructure that hosts the service.
Where it lives
Data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Neon) and travels over HTTPS. The app talks to our own servers, with one exception: if you pick a generated avatar, its image is fetched from DiceBear (api.dicebear.com), a free avatar service that receives only the face's random seed — never your name or any of your data.
Camera
The camera is used only when you choose to scan a buddy's QR code. Frames are processed on your device to read the code and are never uploaded or stored.
What other people see
Members of a group see that group's expenses and balances. A linked buddy sees the loans between the two of you, plus your name and avatar. Your email is visible to your contacts, since it identifies you in pickers.
Retention and deletion
Your data stays while your account exists. Email admin@vayuuntechnologies.in from your registered address to delete your account. Records that other users' ledgers depend on (for example, a group expense you paid) may be retained for their books while being detached from your identity where feasible.
Children
Divzy is not directed at children under 13. If we learn of such an account we will delete it.
Changes
Updates to this policy appear here with a new effective date.
