Delete your Divzy account

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to admin@vayuuntechnologies.in with the subject “Delete my Divzy account”.
2. Send it from the email address your Divzy account is registered with — that is how we verify the request is yours.
3. We confirm and complete the deletion within 7 days.

What gets deleted

Your account and everything that identifies you: your name, email address, password hash, avatar choice, buddy code, buddy links, and the borrow/lend entries between you and your buddies. Pending verification codes and rate-limit records expire and are purged automatically.

What may be kept, and for how long

Group expenses you recorded that other members' ledgers depend on (for example, a dinner you paid for on a trip) are retained in those groups' books so other users' balances stay correct, but they are detached from your identity where feasible. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days. Nothing else is retained.
